Lenses are a bit hit or miss because I don't have any Canon EOS digital cameras. However, recently I was able to get a 50mm f/1.8 that was in good condition.
There is a link to a review I wrote about the Rebel G. It also has information on the batteries used for the camera and optional date back, as well as where to find the manual.
For how to use the camera I have written two guides on loading and removing film. Loading is easy. Film will automatically rewind when the roll is done.
The only issue will be if you need to remove a roll before all the frames have been used. This is also easy when you know the settings and buttons to press on the camera.
